RIOT Plugin Installer

As many of you probably know, there is a RIOT (Radical Image Optimization Tool) addon for XnView created by the XnView author - that is the addon not RIOT itself.
For users that don't know yet about RIOT, this is a free image optimization tool, very handy for reducing the image filesize.
In the past RIOT could be plugged into XnView only manually by copying the required files.
But now the RIOT addon for XnView comes as an easy to use installer.
The installation wizard will locate any supported host applications like XnView, IrfanView or GIMP and and automatically copy files to the proper location. No more troubles with copying FreeImage.dll and RIot.dll in the correct location !
The installer can be downloaded from the RIOT website:

You are right ! I thought I used the 64 bits version and it’s the 32 bits. Sorry for being quite dumb.

Hello lian

Both the 32- (
Riot-plugin-x86.exe) and 64-bit (
Riot-plugin-x64.exe) version of RIOT come with these files:
- FreeImage.dll
- Riot.dll
- riot.exe
- uninstall-plugin.exe
- changelog.txt
- FIPL.txt
- license.txt
There's an extra file in the 32-bit version:
I would uninstall both versions (if possible) via
Start →
Settings →
Apps →
Apps & Features, and then check for remaining files in
\XnView\AddOn\ or
\XnView MP\AddOn\. Once those are (manually) deleted, you can install the correct version.

Thanks but I was not precise enough. I was speaking about XnViewMP. Can I uninstall v.32 bits if 64 bits is already installed or do I need to uninstall both versions before reinsalling XnViewMP 64 bits ?
