I think you can improve XNConvert massively
a) This is a bit annoying: If "Ask" is turned on as an overwrite option and you're being asked if XNC should overwrite a file, you cannot click "Cancel". You have to click as many times as there are overwrite collisions.
b) For target filenames, we can use variables. Make Files and folders transparent! It would be great if we could use target paths like "{Date Taken [Ymd]}\{Filename}" - so it's XNCs job to create a folder like "20110413" and files inside it... Example software who does it this way is foobar2000 audio player, the file operations component.
The better the automation is, the less our grandmas have to take care of folder structures
