MP0.28.1 Win: Lossless rotation desaturates color jpgs

I was using MP 0.38.1 to rotate some color jpegs of old slides I took today...

To my surprise, the rotated jpegs became black and white images! Since the rotation is placed into the original file, the few images I tried are lost and must be retaken.

For the record, XnView 1.9x rotates these files correctly!
