MP 0.38 viewer stuck in low-res preview

first thing I noticed with 0.38 (not sure about 0.35 since I haven't tested it much).
on large files (4000px wide jpeg) the viewer often get stuck in low-res preview.
happens when navigating quickly (prev/next) a folder containing several consecutive large file.
idea: going to prev file on a file that has not had the time to initialize properly because the too fast pace of next>next navigation skipped it somehow.

I was just speculating on the occurrence of the buggy behavior.
the issue is: the viewer get stuck in low-res (scaled up) preview. (happens only on large file)

nope there definitively is a bug in there, it actually happens all the time when navigating a high-res picture folder.
MP is unusable for me like this.
let me know how I can help in solving this issue.

and no problem with 0.35?? Do you use the last 0.38.7?

the issue always occur when navigating "too" quickly. (seems to occur more specifically when going "next/prev" while the current image is still being decoded (displayed as low-res)

2 test case (win7 x64):

• case 1 : 1 folder of 400 jpg+CR2 (5200 x 3400)
• case 2 : 1 folder of +/- 1000 average res .jpg with several high res .jpg (4000x2000).

result with 0.38.7:

• case 1 : at some point CR2 file start to get displayed as small thumbs not upscaled and jpeg as upscaled low-res, from that point on ALL images get stuck in lower-res
• case 1 : when I get to a specific group (2 consecutive files) of higher res jpgs and going next/prev arround this group I always end up with one image display stuck in lower-res (not always the high-res one)

result with 0.35 x64.:

• case 1 : no problem at all.
• case 1 : same prob as 0.38.7
