Hi everyone,
Was wondering if anyone else had seen this behaviour. When I double click an image, XnView opens up and displays it. It is displayed in an XnView window (with the toolbars and menus showing), and I then can hit F11 to go into Fullscreen. Once I do, I can hit ESC to totally close the XnView window. I like how this works.
Anyway, I just went in and changed the setting in XnView's preferences "Mode when starting with a new file" from Normal to Fullscreen-Browser. This is because I found I was hitting F11 frequently when opening an image, so I thought I may as well have XnView start up in fullscreen. I then double clicked an image. It opened in fullscreen, so still ok so far. I can still at this point hit ESC to close the XnView window. When the image is opened fullscreen however, if I hit F11 to go back to the XnView window, the XnView window is likely to be basically missing all the components (it doesn't happen 100% of the time, but it does happen most of the time - haven't worked out a pattern as to when it happens and when it doesn't as yet).
By 'missing all the components', I mean that except for the image thumbnail, the whole window is white. That is until I begin to move my mouse. Move my mouse over the spot where the toolbar buttons would be, and they start to appear, one by one as I mouse over where they would be if the window was not white. Mouse over the tree pane and each folder in the tree starts to appear as I mouse over it. Also at this point, ESC does not close the XnView window. Is that a bug (making it two bugs), or intended (making it only one bug, the white window)?

WIn 7 64bit, XnView 1.98.2. Any help appreciated in fixing the white window problem.
Regards,
CM
