Sorry, I misunderstood.

I have found two inconsistencies regarding full screen and full screen lite:

-One of them (browser-> full screen) doesn't cycle images, the other one (normal view-> fullscreen) does, like I want it.

-One of them (browser-> full screen) uses a really cool feature: first the images are rendered low quality, but fast. After this the images are rendered high quality, which takes a little longer.
I wish the other fullscreen (normal view-> fullscreen) would use this behaviour, too! :)

With the mouse wheel set to previous/next file (see options>view>keyboard/mouse)

This is a shame. I don't care for this feature in the preview screen, but in fullscreen it is really nice. I can cycle pics as fast as I can turn my mousewheel, but I can also view them in full quality after a short delay.

Please reconsider your decision or make it optional. Image It really makes a big difference when viewing .jpgs bigger than a few hundred kB, but even with small pics it is great Image

btw: I have the following machine:
AMD 1800+, 256MB RAM, GeForce4 MX, 80Gb HD, XP Home SP 2

I think on slower machines the difference is even more noticable.

HQ still doesn't work...

- default settings (rename xnview.ini file)
- enable "Use delayed HQ..." option, value [0] (under Options>View>FS)
- enable "Fit image to window, large only" option (under Options>View>FS)
- download my jpg file (or/and try another 100+kb 1600x1200 jpg file)
- palce it in any filder with at least 5 images (no reason, just for switching)
- open it in FS lite (F11 in browser)
= HQ doesn't work
- switch to another image and back
= HQ doesn't work
- press numpad '*' and '/'
= HQ works

Strange - if "Use delayed HQ..." option is disabled, all "High zoom quality" options (reduce, enlarge, fit to...) are disabled - HQ for my jpg file works then (in FS lite) - another bug?

Ok, i understand perhaps the problem. Do you have Options/Browser/Preview/High quality, because i use it to make HQ :-(

Yes, enabled (it is enabled by default, see the 1st step above). That 2nd bug is not so important, important is 1st bug...

Confirmed problem.
With delayed HQ at 512 pixels (using F11 to go to fullscreen):
Delayed HQ does not work at 1600x1200.
Delayed HQ always works 758 x 972.

Problem can be seen by looking for the lack of flickering filename and by comparing quality of very large preview area & fullscreen.
