Preview and Fullscreen only?

I like to browse my pictures via thumbnails and a large preview, which is fine with XnView.

However, is there a possibility to have XnView open the pictures in fullscreen mode by default (hitting enter or double clicking) rather than opening a new tab for it?

Also, in fullscreen mode, is there a way to rebind the mousewheel to flip through the pictures, rather than zoom in/out?

I was searching the options (which there are plenty ), but couldn't find suitable switches.

Thank you for this hint, this brings me a bit closer to the behavior I am looking for!
When starting XnView, it does so now in fullscreen mode.

Also I found that mousewheel can be remapped to page through the pictures.

Only thing I am missing now is to prevent XnView to open tabs with pictures,
thumbnails with preview and fullscreen view is all I want.
