Dear all,
it seems there is some kind of issue in histogram showed by XnView (v1.98.5, Win Vista). It appears in all kind of images (more or less) some kind of peaks in RGB histograms. These peaks are stronger in shadows.
In the other hand XnViewMP represents a more smooth and realistic histograms.
Sorry, but I cannot attach any screenshot about it.
Best regards and compliments for your work.
Histograms are different between XnView and MP

Re: Histograms are different between XnView and MP
I have made an installation of xnview in my notebook and I released that the histograms works fine.
So, I have uninstalled xnview from my desktop computer and I have deleted all information of xnview in configuration windows folders. After that I have reinstalled xnview and now the histograms are Ok.
So finally it seems to me that it is a mistake related with the installation procedure. In my destokp computer I have been installing all updates but never I tried to erase all xnview information. I do not where it could be the issue but anyway it is fixed now.
thanks.
