show files in subfolders

Ticking this option makes the folders disappear, clicking on it again doesn't make them come back unless I change directories and go back.

I'd like to put in a request for a nicer looking folder design if I could, they stands out a bit too much like it's kind of like I'm browsing Windows 3.1 folders, they're just very stark looking.
The files could look nicer in the folders as well, perhaps like how Windows 7 does it would be a great improvement. Thanks for your work.
