xnview keeps reading audio and video files! only pictures??

hello.


how to configure xnview....to stop reading video .mp4 etc... and audio files mp3----.... or else theres a error!!

i want only to read image files.


- i have already tried in assotiations..... unselect ... i have only selected the most typical image files.. lie targa.....jpeg...

in archives... video and audio too. list of files to eb shown in explorer. ...audio video...

As shown below. After starting from browser, set small toolbar filter to custom. Only check images in options... browser>file list

Options... View>{Misc}>[ ]Play movie [ ]Play sound

Tools->options->browser->file list will bring you to the options panel shown in marsh's screenshot. I have checks in all the boxes for images, folders, and archives, but nothing else. With those settings, xnview does not try to load audio & video files.
If you have that same setup already, click the "misc" tab and make sure "recognize only by extension" is checked.
