How "Yes" in Save Changed File dialog leads to loss

Post by Aquasixpack »

Following steps lead to image/changes loss.

1. Make changes in an image or paste a screenshot
2. Close image (e.g. via Close button), the Save Changed File dialog appears
3. Click "Yes", the File dialog appears
4. Click "Cancel"--> the image and the changes are lost

Pushing Cancel in the File dialog should lead back to the (changed) image without closing it.

Hmm, this would be a really bad bug. In XnView 1.98 I cannot reproduce it. When closing an image a message box "Save changed file" with buttons "Yes", "No", and "Cancel" appears. When canceling, the message box closes and nothing else happens.

Which version of XnView do you use?
