Hello!
- XnView installed is latest 1.98.5
- default settings don't change anything (renamed whole XnView settings folder in documents and settings)
- OS is Win XP SP3
- GIMP is Windows Version 2.6.11.
XnView does not display any GIMP xcf file.
Either display is completely black, or one of the layers is shown, or one of the layers is shown badly garbled.
Same files stored in another format (from GIMP) show up as should. (eg TIFF JPEG - I think these are without layers.)
I think it has to do with the layering. Or more specific with text layers? Maybe?
If you need a sample (not sure if I'm able to upload anything anywhere), just ANY xcf written with GIMP will do.
E.g. in GIMP "File" "Create" "Logos" "Chrome" (or whatever it is called in other language versions).
Then save as xcf.
That creates three layers, right now XnView is only showing the "Drop Shadow" layer, not the rest of the layers. Or maybe it's an alpha layer, I can't really tell.
