0.39 Win x64: Gamma steps in Batch Convert

Post by shernott »

When you use Map->Adjust in Batch Convert and you adjust the Gamma value with the arrows, the steps are too big (+/- 1.0). For a value like Gamma (+/- 0.1) would be more appropriate. However if you adjust the Gamma value behind the decimal point, either through the slider or through manual entry, and then go on to modify some other parameter in the Processing list, when you come back the Gamma value is rounded down to nearest integer.

I guess the two problems might be related. And while the first is a minor nuisance, the second one makes it pretty much impossible to use Gamma adjustments in batch processing.

The second bug (rounding down) seems to be gone now, and the step size of +/- 0.1 looks to me just right. However the behaviour of the buttons remains a bit odd: the increasing now goes smoothly in +0.1 steps, however when decreasing, the steps seem to be slightly bigger than 0.1, which shows after several steps. The effect is most visible in the interval from 2 to 1, it seems to be less pronounced below and above. Strange!
