Problems with cycling images in full screen

I think there is a general bug, if you go into fullscreen you cannot cycle through images in a folder properly, it will either freeze after a few images if you have double click disabled or send you back to the viewer if you have double click enabled.

Using Windows 7 32 bit.

OK, so if I select Options>View>Loop on the file list , it allows to cycle through all images but for some reason left click goes backwards, right goes forwards which seems counter intuitive, is there a way to reverse this?
