Thumbnail showing more than a full picture

Hi.

I noticed something strange with the latest version of XnView.

When I open a picture and then press Enter to view the contents of the folder with all thumbnails I can see that thumbnails show more.

For example I have a picture of a person - it shows only a face and arms but the thumbnail on the list shows the whole person etc. If the picture was cropped in the past, how is it possible that the thumbnail contains all the missing data?

Is it possible to restore all contents of the picture? Just to see it exactly the same way as it is displayed in thumbnail?

Perhaps the embedded thumbnails was not updated??
Do you have tried to disable option/Thumbnail>Use embedded thumbnails & recreate thumbs?
