moved picture - empty thumbnails

At first:
english isn't my language - but I hope, you will understand, what I mean...
I have a lot of picture in my folders. Sometimes I'm using xnview mp. Sometimes ago, I moved many pictures from a folder to an other - or better: I renamed the folder.
for example:
The folder 2011 - holiday (Folder - subfolder) is now named 2011 - 01_holiday

The subfolder holiday (without 01) doesn't exist any longer.

Today I try xnviev mp 0.51. In xnview mp 0.51 is the problem now: the thumbnails from the pictures in the new folder are correct. But the old thumbnails form the "old" folder (which are not exist any longer) are also "shown" - as an empty thumbnail. How kann I delete the old thumbnails or complet reorganize my picture-folder?

You have the thumbnails but the files are not here???

empty thumbnails or place-holder - but not realy thumbnails...
I've forget: in the Folder-view are only thumbnails from pictures which exists.

This problem is only in Category-View. In the Category are shown real Thumbnails from exists pictures but also (empty) Thumbnails or place-holders from pictures which was moved to an other folder or where the folders was renamed

ok, so ghost items.
Right if you move folder/files in windows explorer, XnView can't know it, so the items are always in database...

I must add a check feature...

Yes, I think you know now what I mean...

I think it must be a feature like re-organize thumbnails or remove thumbnails from non-exists folders/pictures

you can use Otpion>Cache>Thumbnail - optimize to remove orphaned files
