1.50 b: Issues with check for program update

Perhaps a problem in my settings, maybe a bug:

Whenever I start XnConvert 1.5 beta, the message box "New version" is displayed. First, XnConvert should only check once a day (or depending on my setting). Second, it should use the setting, which is Check for Update: "Never".

Yes, this must be fixed immediately asap as this update prompt is always showing at startup.

.....Because of the 'check for update' I cannot get the "Convert with XnConvert" shell right-click feature to properly load the files in XnConvert
