Maybe a message could show on XnViewMP when jpg files that cannot open properly are opened.

Thanks for adding the prompt message in XnViewMP 0.56.
Although you need to further make it so that the view tab auto closes after showing this message.
Theres no point in the tab still being opened after the message is shown.

How do you open the file?
You have no 'File can't be loaded'??

Hmm ok, so could you try making it transform into an Empty tab instead of closing it?
