EXIF Date Created search

Hello,

New to XnView and liking the capabilities. Have a question about date searching.

After clicking "Search Files", then selecting the "EXIF" box and "Date Taken", I assumed the entry area to the left is for placing date expressions in order to limit the date search to a particular date or range of dates.

However I am unable to get any format (that I'm familar with) to function correctly - i.e. the search returns 0 records.

Can someone enlighten me as the correct date expression/format for searching the Date Created field?

I don't know if it is possible to search from a date to an other, with V 1.99.6
But for one date use this: year:month:day
Look at XnView MP for more powerfull search
