XnView Manual does not open - PDF damaged?

I downloaded the user guide, but when I try to open it I get the following error message:

"Adobe Reader could not open 'XnView (Windows) User Guide.pdf' because is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged."

I repeated the download with the same result. Any idea as to what I may have done wrong?
