Image and m3u playlist

I have 3 main hobbies...movies; music & computers. I am quite 'well up' on computers..including images..hence my request.
I've been looking for a good audio file manager..haven't found one, but tried loads.The WAV files are kept in folders, with the album name..and a PNG image of the sleeve...I can create m3u files...but they look ugly..if I was to copy the PNG sleeve image to another location, and created a m3u (playlist) to the same location...is there some way, of either linking that image to the m3u file, so double clicking it would play the m3u file. or merge the PNG file, and the m3u file..into one..
