Not sure whether this has been reported before or not:
When right clicking on a folder in the folder tree, the context menu is opened. Though the right-clicked folder is not selected. The action chosen in the context menu will apply on the right-clicked folder.
Not quite sure whether this is supposed to be a feature, I'd consider this as a bug:
You might happen to right-click on a folder next to the selected folder and choose "Delete". Then, the folder that you right clicked on will be deleted...

At least for me (see my sig for specs) it works.helmut wrote:Not sure whether this has been reported before or not:

To be very clear, the program highlights the right-click folder but does NOT open it. This is the default behavior on Windows including the TreeView widget (the widget which is responsible for Windows Explorer's tree and for (almost) all trees on the Windows platform).
IF you mean to 'open' the folder with the right-click I think that we cannot change this convention without raising very big usability problems because every one is used with the 'normal' way and, besides that, the workflows will be much more convoluted: think only at cut-paste operations how many more (re)openings of the source folder will require. Also, the 'New Folder' command which the user usually uses for creating a destination folder will require a (re)open of the source. The same phenomenon appears for a simple 'Rename'. I do it all the day this from many years and IMHO it would be a big mess if all these will be changed. Besides that in the worldwide mindset the left-click button has the very specific action to select / trigger / open (the most decisive actions which a widget can receive) whereas the right-click has the meaning of the 'menu' (an intermediate action waiting for user's response).
Also in Explorer if you right-click on a folder and it isn't current folder you cannot see the files which are about to be deleted.
OTOH, if you don't see the highlight on the right-clicked folder then this is a problem and it should be fixed.
