HI,
When I rotate a single image with the options checked for autocrop and apply to image, it maintains the transparent background.
When I select batch, and rotate, the background is white. I have tried several options and can't make the background stay transparent.
What I would love to do is
1. make picture a bit bigger.
2. Rotate right 4.2%
3. Clear Metadata.
4. Have the picture re-cropped to have a vertical form again..
I have 450 photos I want to do this to, hence wanting to use batch.
Ok, rotate convert the picture in 24bits to be able to make smooth rotation

Another thing I would like to do: Enlarge the canvas and still keep the background transparent. It seems to make the enlarged area white.
If you use 'canvas resize', the transparent background is no more here??
Hi Pierre,
I'm not sure where the 24bit setting is. In Xnconvert - there is a box to check for smooth or not for rotate. If I check for smooth, it does not maintain transparent background. If I don't, it works ok - but the picture has some jaggedness to it. I also was able to get the canvas size to enlarge with transparency! And instead of autocrop, I chose manual crop and was able to adjust so it worked. The autocrop did not seem to work right after rotate.
Hi Pierre,
I wanted to clarify that I am using Xnconvert..
I think I have figured out the options I needed. I'm disabling smooth option for rotate, (it does make it a little jagged), but the background remains transparent.
Then I'm using manual crop options rather than autocrop to make sure and get the rotation background colors removed.
I was able to resize the photos, increase the canvas, rotate the photos and then crop - all retaining the transparent backgrounds.
