Bug: Favorites

Post by Mike D »

Hello,

I have been playing with the latest version of this great program and came across this: when I add to favorites it added ok (it shows an entry) but when I click on that entry it says
"The folder of this favourite doesn't exist. Do you want to delete it?"

I clicked 'OK' and the program crashed with an exception: access violation. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

:) Hello !
- I just tried to add a folder to the “Favourite folders”, that works. I have closed / restarted XnView (1.80.1 - under Win 98 SE -Fr). No problem…
- It works fine too even remaining in the browser >> display any other favourite folder >> come back to the new added one : it works here…

 Kind regards,
Claude

Thanks Claude. Could it be I am running Windows NT?

Very possible...

:) It's very possible ! We can see some issues with NT in that latest version (just browse the "Bugs" forum…)
- Hoping someone could reproduce that bug, and that Pierre'll fix it in the next version…

ok in XP

I tried this on my XP machine and it worked as expected. So it's a NT problem.
