"Scan to..." does not recognize end of scanning

Hello,

I always use the "Scan to..." feature to scan multi-page PDF files. Never had a problem.
Now I got a new scanner (CanoScan LiDE200), and it seems like XNView does not recognize the time when it is supposed to take the tmp files and stick them into a PDF.

When I click "Scan to...", it does come up with the XnView dialog, then opens the Canon scan tool. Canon scans the pages and creates the tmp files. When I am done scanning, I close the Canon scan dialog. And now nothing happens. The tmp files remain on the disk and the PDF is there but empty (file size 1kb).

Is there a way to get this to work with this scanner? This is on a windows 7 64 bit system with the brand new version of XnView (just downloaded from xnview.com today).
