import clipboard does not open thumbnail

Hello,
up to now, each time I imported the clipboard (Ctrl+Shift+V) XnView opened a new thumbnail. That way I could import several pictures in a row and choose between them.

Now, when I do Ctrl-Shift-V, XnView replaces the existing thumbnail with the new contents of the clipboard (after asking me if it really has to). I must have changed some parameter but which ? The options are quite simple so I don't quite see.

I don't understand, with Ctrl+Shift+V you import the clipboard as a new view tab
