It's so obvious that I'm not sure if it's necessary to report it:
The XnView Help (help\help-en.chm) is outdated, many texts and images does not correspond to up-to-date version of XnView. Even the structure of the help is outdated (there is no "Image" or "Edit" menu).
It's very frustrating for novice user (me) to trying to find out how XnView works but not finding any explation what many of these buttons/options/checkboxes do.
Using: XnView 1.80.1 @ WinXP

Re: Help and Help---
There are actually two different help documents: The one on the XnView download page and Clo's help document. Clo's help document is up-to-date, but a bit special.Clo wrote:• Maybe could you try this one ?

Clo's Help Manual ONLINE…
- Freshly updated, and now available to consult directly ONLINE
- Put your sunglasses
- Experimental still, though… Needs a good DSL connection
- Can be viewed too from the program, just download and install this tiny stuff in the “Help” sub-directory.
