I'm very new to this, so this may be an easy answer.

When I convert an an image to .png, how can I set the background to be transparent?

Thanks

Example: I have logos in .gif and .jpeg formats. I'm using XnConvert 1.60. My output settings are to convert the file to png. After I add the file to the Input Tab, I click on the Actions tab and get drop-downs for Image, Map, Filter and Misc. Are there any choices in those drop-downs that will allow the converted image to have a transparent background or are there settings I should change to allow for transparent backgrounds?

As of version 1.60, XnConvert doesn't come with an action to set transparency.
