Unexpected behaviour in fullscreen

steps to reproduce:
---select thumb, enter, when fullscreen hit E (my short cut for colour enhancement),
---quit with escape or cancel,

result:
-XnView jumps to Browser (but fullscreen image still open uderneath -Alt-Tab shows it)

expected result:
-enhancement closes and same image remains fullscreen (on top of other windows, not sent underneath)

resulting problem:
-if fullscreen still open, can't hit enter on a new file
-must return to the fullscreen image via Alt-Tab, or via click on the task bar window icon (which might be set to auto-hide)

I can't reproduce, in fullscreen if i open a dialog and press esc, the dialog is closed only
