Levels adjustment (white point and black point) is already available in XnView Classic (Image > Adjust > Levels...) as you probably know.

The Levels adjustment in XnViewMP also includes a gamma adjustment, which is no doubt the 'rich feature' you refer to: I agree that it can be very convenient to adjust gamma at the same time as adjusting the white and black points, with a preview of the total effect. I have recently made a similar request!

In XnView Classic gamma (or 'gammasat') can be adjusted separately but without the benefit of a combined total preview, and in XnConvert (and XnViewMP in batch mode) it is possible to have Levels and Gamma adjustment windows open at the same time, and to see the combined total result in the Preview window, although slightly smaller than in XnViewMP's normal viewer mode. XnConvert can also be used for single images, incidentally.

In NConvert, both levels and gamma adjustments are already supported, and of course in any case the optimum values to use need to be determined first in a windowed program such as XnView or XnViewMP.

Looking again -- I had to write quickly before -- I see that Levels in XnViewMP also has an 'Output' adjustment: do you find that useful or is it gamma that you really need? I never use the Output control myself...
