spacebar tagging works in browse mode but not in viewer mode

The only thing that prevents me from switching to XnView from other program... Need to be a able to spacebar-tag pictures while flipping thru them...

Assign it. :)

Go to Tools | Settings | Interface | Shortcuts and scroll down to find the 'View Mode' section. There find 'Tag Current' command. Assign (press) 'Spacebar' to it. Restart the program.
