eps

I am trying to edit an eps file but get the message "Format of the file <Scan 02.eps> could not be determined".
I went to Tools/Options/General/Read-Write and said "Add All"
Still didn't open.
Went to Tools/Options/Associations, but eps could not be ticked (greyed out?)
Ghostscript 9.14 is installed.

Please tell me how to go about it?

Have you tried:

It is (maybe) for XnView Classic, but maybe it helps for MP too.
