Browser forgets "Show files in subfolders"

I just started using XnViewMP so I am a "newbie". This behavior is not so bad when you open a few images, but I find it distracting when going though a lot of files. However, I have found a workaround. After opening the image, switch to the "Browser" tab. Then close the image tab while keeping the Browser tab active. In this case, the folder and "Show files in subfolders" setting is preserved.

So the resetting must have to do with reactivating the Browser tab.

My reply was for XnViewMP, not XnView. I posted this in the wrong forum. I apologize for the confusion.
