Sort by creation day after changes

Hello,

Sorting images in list is done by modification date (changed date). When i change the images after downloading from camera (darnkness for example), they will be sorted wrong. Is there any way to sort images by creation date (date created) in image list?
(I know, the would be possibility to use "change timestamp" after changing the image! Is there a better way???)

What you need is "Sort by EXIF creation date". Currently, this is not supported by XnView... ...maybe a useful thing to add in one of the next releases.

I would like to generalize the idea of sorting images.

I have recently made some web pages. If I am not mistaken, the order of the thumbnails on the webpage is identical to the order of the thumbnails in the browser window. But this order is not necessarily the order I wish to have.

In my particular situation, I had images from two cameras one of which had a wrong clock. So, no sorting seemed to provide good results: Name, date, EXIF date, etc. In the end I made the crudest thing I can imagine: I touched all images in a certain way and then sorted after timestamp

Is there any chance to set up a random order manually?
