I feel dumb but can't figure out how to rate images

Seems like you can rate images from 1-5 but I can't figure out how.

Also, what functionality is there for images after you've rated them? (aka, what's the point)

Seems like you can rate images from 1-5 but I can't figure out how.

1. Select one or more thumbnails.
2. Open the View or context menu and go to Rating & Colour label.
3. Apply a rating and/or color label to your image(s).

You can also use the keyboard:

Set rating: Ctrl+Numpad 1/2/3/4/5
Remove rating: Ctrl+Numpad 0
Set color label: Ctrl+Alt+Numpad 1/2/3/4/5
Remove color label: Ctrl+Alt+Numpad 0

These settings can be customized by manually editing xnview.ini:

• ColorLabel-# (0-4)
  • Overrides the default color category names.
    • 0: Important
      1: Work
      2: Personal
      3: To do
      4: Later
    Value: String

• RatingLabel-# (0-4)
  • Overrides the default rating category names.
    • 0: Bad
      1: Below average
      2: Average
      3: Good
      4: Excellent
    Value: String

Also, what functionality is there for images after you've rated them? (aka, what's the point)

View » Tree pane » Categories allows you to filter your images.
