Hi,
I shoot RAW (ORF) + JPEG and put the JPEG+ORF files into the same folders.
In XnView 2.x, I figured out a way to suppress the generation of thumbnails for the ORF files by adding ORF to the 2nd "Custom Files" list, with thumbnails disabled and preview enabled.
That works fine, but I can't figure out how to do something similar in XnViewMP.
Motivations, etc.:
a. I want both files listed so I can delete both if I don't like an image, or move them, rate them, etc.
b. however, no point in reading/generating/caching the thumbnails for both as they are the same... it's faster and easier to only have the thumb on the JPEG.
Thanks!

you have the same setting in "File List>Custom Filter"

Re: Suppress thumbnails for RAW (ORF) files
Hi,
The Custom Filter settings page appears slightly different in MP.
In fact, the whole filtering system seems to work differently; for example, if I choose to filter 'All', the Custom filter seems to be applied.
Right now, if I put ORF in the Exclude, it filters them out on 'All' and 'Custom', which is OK for that view.
But, I cannot find a way to show ORFs in the list without thumbnails, which does work in non-MP -- I believe that's I put ORF in 'Custom Files' in non-MP.
How can I do the same in MP?
Thanks!
