Mac hangs up on XnViewMP launch

Hi,
Until recently I got XnViewMP running normally.
Recently, whwneve I launch XnViewMP, my mac hangs up because the programme is not responding.
If I change use, XnViewMP runs normal?!
the error message:

It did not solve the issue. After openning, it still hangs up.

I supose I have not understood your sugestion.
"please try to rename ~/xnviewmp/xnview.ini?"
I do not have a directory named "/xnviewmp/". The file xnviewmp.app is located at the Applications directory.

You have not a folder .xnview or .xnviewmp in your home folder?

No, I have not.
I just download file from your site and after unziping XnViewMP-mac 23.25.47.tgz, I moved the file XnViewMP.app to my Mac Applications.
I did not create any directory at all.

After using your sugestão, XnView does not open, it opens the image with the following info at the upper left corner:

399/769 - IMG 3818
JPEG TrueColor (v1.1) - 87KB - 480X640
({Date Taken}) ({Mark}) ({Model}) (100%)
([])()()

and the mac freezes again...
I must say that after removing XnViewMP and reisntall it again, instead of a new installation I got again the old configuration!?
Is there a place/file where I can clean up the old installation?
