Descript.tion comment "<" not shown in Information displayed

Post by jo2h2 »

Hi,

I am using the "Set comment" function storing into descript.ion to mark images - e.g. with a "<".

I am surprised that e.g. "!" as comment (from descript.ion) is shown in "Information displayed" correctly, but "<" not.

E.g. a "!!! <<<" is only showing "!!!", "<<< !!!" is showing nothing, ">>>" is showing ">>>" ...

So it seems the "<" is wrongly interpreted as HTML open tag.

Testing that, putting "<b> hallo </b>" into the comment into descript.ion - is showing a "bold" 'hallo" :D

So would it be possible to mask the text from the descript.ion comment correctly, to show what is stored, and not take it as HTML commands ?

Thanks :)

Best wishes,
Jo ...

P.S. - reading and writing those "<" into the descript.ion comment is working properly ...
