How do I start again

Hi,

XvMP 0.72 under Ubuntu.

I'm starting to understand what I'm doing and want to remove all the data to start again, but I'd like to keep my preferences/configurations. How do I start 'almost fresh'?

Or may be I should delete the .xmviewmp and start everything from scratch
