For performance reasonse most of the time the setting "create thumbnails for entire folder" is turned off.
However there are situations in which it would be necessary to recreate thumbnails for an entire folder. But it is not very convenient to go to settings first change the settings and reverse it afterwards.
It would be easier to have a context menu entry that would allow to recreate thumbnails for the current folder by clicking it.
