Hi Community.
I shoot my pictures in raw, with a Panasonic FZ1000 set in AdobeRGB color profile.
When I see my own pictures on my PC I have no problem at all.
When I send my pictures to friends, if I don't convert the color profile in Photoshop, they see dull colors.
I would like to use XnViewMP to batch convert the pictures I want to send them to sRGB color space, but it seems I do something wrong when in Batch Convert tool I choose the ICC convert action, meaning that the converted pictures still look bad on my friends' computers (on my PC they look good).
In the ICC Convert step, I have:
Input profile (sRGB by default) and an empty field. (I can click on ... to open a .icc file and it opens the folder in which I have the pictures I want to convert.)
Output profile (sRGB by default) and an empty field. (I can click on ... to open a .icc file and it opens the folder in which I have the pictures I want to convert.)
Rendering intent (with 4 different choices)
Ignore embedded profile
Black point compensation
What can I do to convert the pictures to the sRGB color space?
Thank you!
Matt

I don't normally use colour profiles so I may be misunderstanding the problem, but don't you need to load a copy of the Adobe RGB profile in the Input profile window:Matt1972 wrote:I would like to use XnViewMP to batch convert the pictures I want to send them to sRGB color space, but it seems I do something wrong when in Batch Convert tool I choose the ICC convert action, meaning that the converted pictures still look bad on my friends' computers (on my PC they look good).
If you don't have a copy of the Adobe RGB .icc profile on your computer, you can download one from this Adobe link.
I hope that helps...
Edit:
If your files have an embedded Adobe RGB profile, presumably you could leave the Input profile window blank provided Ignore embedded profile is unchecked as above.
In Batch convert... the Input tab is used to load files to be converted, then the Output and Settings tabs should be configured to suit.

Hi, I've been able to get what I want. Just before your post, I tried and tried and I figured it out as you suggested. Also, in the Output tab I unchecked "Preserve color profile".cday wrote:Please note edits to the previous post.
Thank you.
Have a nice day,
