In v 0.78 I had this problem:
When you pick the same "Restore layout" twice, Then the thickness of tabs under preview,info,categories Change from thick to thin.
When you restart they always default back to thick making you click restore again.
On top of this I have no way of knowing what layout is currently in use. "A tick or highlight would really help here". Option to rename layouts even better.
In v0.79 I have this problem:
Seems it depends on how xnviewmp feels that day as to what size of tabs it will be using when he starts up.
I would think this should be saved when you save the layout, But this doesn't seem to happen for me.
I used to be able to hit "Restore layout" and return to thin tabs, now I have to hit it many times for it to change.

I messed around with default theme for a little while and this problem doesn't happen at all.
I can't make thick tabs happen at all with default theme.
Kinda nice sometimes, but i can live without them if I can't control them.
Too bad I can't make myself like the Bright default theme, and too bad no color options for the GUI.
Is the dark theme sheet totally different from the default
