0.79: No changing categories in properties dialog in Viewer

Using XnView MP 0.79 on Windows 7 x64.

Open an image in View Mode.

Right click image and select Properties (or Edit>Properties).

Select Categories tab.

Check a category.

Click OK.

No change is made to the image file or catalog.

(I am guessing that this dialog is intended to be read-only and not for making changes. If that is the case, maybe the checkboxes in the Categories tab should be disabled?)

@Pierre: This missing feature is quite irritating to several users, here. Is there a reason why the user should not be able to change the categories in the properties dialog?
