tif to gif modifies dpi values

Post by markmark »

Hello,

What am I doing wrong? When I convert a black and white tif (150x150 dpi, bit depth 1) into a gif, the resulting file has 384x96 dpi with bitdepth 8. I use the command:

nconvert -out gif myfile.tif

I tried to fiddle around with the -dpi switch, but it didn't help.
Thanks for your help!

Could you send me the file, please?

I tried to send it to your email, but it seems you hit your quota:
Action: failed
Status: 5.0.0
Diagnostic-Code: X-Postfix; wanadoo.fr platform: said: 552 5.2.2 Over quota (in

Where should I send it to?
