Export EXIF data

How do I use the 'Export EXIF data' in the "Edit->Metadata" menu in Image view?
If I enter a filename in the filename textbox of the 'Save As' dialog, I don't find a new file at that location. (Version 1.68 on Windows XP)

Yes, a bug :bugconfirmed:. Will be fixed in the 1.68.1
