Hi,
it will be nice if you can add an "always copy" option. With that option on, it will always copy file/folder dragged to tree/folder pane instead of moving them.
An option could be added to settings->generals->file operations, add a checkbox "always copy to folder". That way, it normally copy files to folder pane and move when hold ctrl key, an opposite behavior than the current version.
It will be easier for me to use as i work with many images to edit and always copy them before to keep the original.
Thanks for considering it,
sorry for my bad english.

Re: Add always copy option
Are you on Windows? Just asking because on macOS it seems that when dragging files, copying (also on the same drive) is the default behaviour. And i would prefer it the other way, because i more often move files to another folder, instead of copying
Is it possible to change this? Maybe in the .ini file?
Thanks, any help is appreciated!
Edit: Sorry, did not want to hijack your suggestion, found a bug report thread for the macOS "problem": http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=34758
Anyway, i second your suggestion, regardless of the OS a setting to set the default dragging behaviour would be handy

Yes, i'm on Windows. I don't know if "default copy" was a bug issue back then. And i can't found any setting about that in .ini file.jscode wrote:Are you on Windows? This is a screenshot of settings dialog of FastStone Image Viewer. There is an option to change the default behavior, maybe it can be used as reference.
