First I'm using XnView for a couple of years yet. With this my sencere thanks for a nice program.
A few questions about the multi-image Convert.
Is it possible to integrate a filter allowing to substitute 1 single color by another one, with an additional tolerance setting?
Say I have a large gray area which I want to substitute in light gray or another color.
I mean the standard color substitution which can be found in lots of screen capture programs.
Is it possible to auto add a watermark picture on top (e.g. logo or copyright)?
Is it possible to make the "add Text" option to make the text itself transparent (alpha value).
Better or additional should be to blend the text color with the picture color.
The idea of this last point is that it should be possible to put a Copyright notice through a picture or graph while being only very little noticable or disturbing.
It increases safety in function of copyright infringement, since the notice or text disturbes little but is hard to remove from the picture.
I'm thinking about pictures for animations, scientific graphs and the likes.
Many thanks in advance.
The first one is a direct problem for me now (must change a dominant color into another for hundreds (maybe > thousand) of pictures for animations.
Just saw that latest version added opacity in "add text".
Will download it and try.
That should be one of the points solved.
Sorry, just read the history on the XnView related page.
PS: I was the guest above
Edited:
I downloaded latest edition and tried.
I must have misunderstood the history page. It's still as the version I had.
The text color itself can not be made transparent or blended with it's background.

Ok, a must to have
I am new to XNView and maybe I didn't download everything needed.
But I didn't find a 'add text' option in the menu's.
What did I miss?
Look in the batch processing.
But you can apply it on individual pictures as well.
Warm regards.
For the Xn viewers.
I've been playing with lots of Batch processing utilities lately.
The Eyebatch 2 goes closed to my personal needs.
Just to get some ideas, and still using XnView as grateful as before.
Best regards
Eric
I should like to combine posibilities of different programs.
In that this is excelent but missing in the other and vice versa etc. I've been playing for days with lots of them.

I id find the entry now in the batch processing option.
When I try to put some text or some field like the copyright, the info don't show in the picture when the batch processing is done.
Do I follow the right procedure?

There's batch processing for adding a specific text to several images. If you want to manually add text to an image, you simply open it and use menu "Image > Add text...".

Just found this in the new version -
but opacity in "add text" is unfortunately not available in batch processing
