XnView: MP 0.84 - 64 bit
OS: Windows 7 - 64bit
Browser mode, Batch Renaming dialog:
the ENTER key should push the "OK" button, not go to the previously used template!
Effect: risk of renaming the filenames incorrectly.
To reproduce:
1- select a group of files.
2- select Rename to open the Batch Renaming dialog.
3- select the "create new name template when opening dialog" option.
4- click OK to rename (and to create an old template).
5- repeat points 1-3 with differently named files.
6- now press ENTER instead, to try to immediately accept the template and rename the files.
Actual behaviour (bug): previous used template selected
Expected behaviour: panel closed, files renamed with the first detected template

Re: 0.84: batch renaming, enter key problem
Confirmed.Actual behaviour (bug): previous used template selected
Indeed it is dangerous: someone can incorrectly rename the files.
Easy to fix tough, I think.

I don't know if this was meant to be already fixed, but it's still present in 0.85

O.k., thank you, I can also reproduce the problem. Issue 1212 is fixed in next version.
