"XnConvert.app can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash." message

GREETINGS.
I just upgraded to 1.74 and get this error. I tried using 1.73 and get the same error. The previous version worked fine though cannot remember the version number.
This is the error message:

I've only found one similar answer on the web and tried this with no success.

If I drag .../XnConvert.app/Contents/MacOS/XnConvert itself into terminal window to run the app, it works. Just not from double clicking the app icon

I’ve found a way to make it work:

in terminal:

Code: Select all

sudo bash

**enter password**

Code: Select all

xattr -cr /Applications/XnConvert.app 

[xnview]
