Canon CRW files, mouse zoom

Post by Guest »

I have asked this for a previous version of xnview, but is it possible to fix the crw file reading? At present, crw files from Canon EOS 10D are not read correctly. The real resolution is 3072x2048 pixels, but xnview displays only 1536x1024 pixels, i.e. a sampled down version. I did enable the High Resolution option in the Read Options menu, but the resolution has not changed.

About the zoom, is it possible to add an option to zoom in and out with the mouse roller? For instance to zoom in 10% increments per roller click.

Thank you.

CRW problems from Canon Powershot G5

Post by Gordon »

Hi,

I'm also seeing problems with reading Canon CRW files. A 2592x1944 RAW file from a PowerShot G5 appears as 640x480 (even with the high resolution reading option set).

This is with v1.68.1, downloaded yesterday.

:bug: ?

Regards,

Gordon.

Same with the S50. It would be great to see this bug fixed.

I just downloaded the latest version 1.8, and my Powershot Pro1 raw images only appear as 640x480 instead of the correct 3264x2448.

Turning on the hi-res read option still only shows 640x480 in the previews/thumbs listings. But clicking on the image will now display a high res image, though it's 3286x2470 instead of the true size 3264x2448. I don't see why the image is 22 pixels larger in each dimension now though.

Can I assume this is a bug, and if so, may I please request a fix for the Canon Powershot Pro1 RAW files.

Thanks.

Yes, sometimes the picture is readed with less pixels . Do you have a sample?
